Over the last 4 decades there were four separate occasions where I was so close to seeing my dreams come true of financial wealth, only to derail myself without even knowing how close I was. Approximately one week later I ordered the Audio Book and bought the hardbound book as well. I listen to the book in it’s entirety every day while I am on the road. My wife is about halfway through the book, and for the first time in years has hope that her husband will return to the leadership in our marriage. So far I have been successful at manifesting parking spaces and a very positive mental attitude. I am constantly remembering to remember, keeping control and focus over my thoughts. I have set my intentions and each day I know I draw closer to seeing them manifested. The Secret has always worked in my business life, but I am just now learning how to apply it to every aspect. I didn’t know what it was called, and I wasn’t sure how it worked, but I knew that if I could see the end result I wanted and feel it, like it was already here, I would be amazed at how it would come about. When I first watched The Secret, I realized that this was not just because I am so blessed, but rather something that anyone could do. Financial security is a hard thing to really see in your head, so I borrowed from Jack Canfield’s advice and pictured the lifestyle that goes along with it, as a way to bring it about. Again, I don’t have any desire for the jet set lifestyle, but was attempting to find a way to picture enough money to ensure that I can continue to provide for my family, for the sanctuary that is home to more than 140 lions, tigers and other big cats, and especially the funds needed to change the laws so that animals are treated with more compassion. So, I pictured the island home, the yachts, the planes, the cars, the celebrities… Within a week, a movie star that I have only met twice called me and invited me to be her guest at the home of one of her supporters. She offered to have someone come for me in a private plane. When I went online to their website to find out a little more about them, I saw the island house I had pictured, with two yachts and a seaplane tied up on the beach. Once I arrived I saw a Bentley and a Porsche in the garage and some of the nicest and most generous people I have ever met. I was half tempted to pinch them, just to see if they were real. They treated me to a lovely dinner cruise on their yacht and asked me to spend the night in their resort. They were so hospitable and wanted to help in any way possible. It was obvious that they know and practice The Secret. I was able to spend some quality time with the celebrity that I barely knew and now we are all working together to create some better legislation. This is such a small example of the power of the law of attraction and it makes me smile every time I think about the level of detail that was all manifested in such a short period of time. Blessing everyone, first it was What The Bleep then came The Secret and made it easier to understand! About 5 years ago I had a life changing event...I was widowed. It knocked me to the ground and when I eventually got up again I found I was a different person. A few months later, The Secret was launched, but being in Australia...where it was created....we had to wait and couldn't purchase the DVD until late 2006. Since then, more and more things are starting to fall into place, simply by thinking and feeling good about what is going to happen. In reality, it's a small step but you can go a long way from that first step. You have little to lose and much to gain by learning and applying The Secret...or at least fine tuning it, as I have. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You !!! First I cannot tell you how much of an impact The Secret has made in my life! When I first viewed it over and over again I had this burning desire to get this out to the world. How was I going to do that I kept asking myself. As Jack Canfield said in the movie "it is like a car with the headlight's on and you can drive from California to New York with only seeing 200 feet in fromt of you" That is excatly how it has unfolded for me. I first started a Law of Attraction group and then the SGR program lauched and it was the avenue for me to get this message out For the first time I felt that I could really make a differnce on this planet. Two days ago, I joined SGR immediately upon receiving the first email. This story just happened to me: Tomorrow I am taking my daughter to visit the University of South Carolina. On Saturday the school is having a big function for all the new scholarship students accepted to the college for a major meet and greet for the students and parents. Last night I went online to make my reservations and found a hotel located on campus were I wanted to stay. The problem I had when I checked on reservations is that the hotel was booked for the night. I was not surprised because it is the only hotel located in the heart of campus on the eve of a very big weekend. Instead of making a reservation at another hotel, I sent an email to the hotel requesting a room, figuring that they would get a cancellation in the morning. I got an email this morning telling me that they were sorry but there had been no cancellations and there were no rooms available. This morning I called the hotel and talked to the front desk and asked for a room. I was told there were no rooms and that they gave me the name and number to another hotel they were recommending to everyone that was calling. After lunch I called the hotel one more time, only to be told that there was no availability. I decided that I could wait no longer, and went online with a travel site to book the hotel, only to find that the recommended hotel was now full. I looked around the site to find another hotel and came across the USC campus hotel and I decided to check it out one more time. To my delight, I booked a room with no problems and even got a rate less than I dared dream! My daughter and I are going to be staying in the heart of campus on a very big day for her and I own it all to the principles of ASK…ASK…ASK, Practice Persistence, The Attitude of Gratitude and the Trust that Our Universe Always Delivers! When the email about The Science of Getting Rich arrived, a few times, I had to glance at my current "wish list" for an ideal business opportunity. I thought, "Oh my! That's a perfect match! Hmmm. And I can do it from anywhere, and it really fits in with my overall life goals and gee whiz, it's a cool way to share these ancient bits of wisdom....worst case scenario, I get a great seminar in a box, a loaded MP3 Player, and a global opportunity to share the good news/plant seeds and leave the results to be as they will..." Works for me! Wanting to be ever so practical and pragmatic, I thought, "this calls for a walk on the beach and brunch, with a highlighter and all these pages..." When I returned home I thought, "Just do it! This is a fabulous way to redirect financial energy for the benefit of all humanity. What a brilliant way to promote the spirit of goodwill thoughout the planet! It also helped to see Rev. Michael involved; having had the privilege of taking a class years ago taught by Rev.
